Quaker Medallion Strawberry Pinkeep

I was looking for a quick and easy stitch that I could work on while I was in Washington DC last week and found this Blackbird Designs piece from the 2006 JCS Ornament Issue. I grabbed some 32 count Belfast linen and GAST Clover to take along and quickly copied the page from the magazine and flew out the door. Considering how little time I had to stitch since my husband went along on this trip, I have to say this was a delightful piece that worked up very quickly. Now I have to get the magazine out again and read the instructions on how to finish it and actually get it done so I can hang it on my tree this year.

Its lovely, Adana. What a great job, and you did that while on vacation? Love the color you chose.

Very nicely done Adana! I've stitched this up twice and enjoyed every minute. The finishing instructions are good although I did what I wanted to do on the leaves. That was pretty tricky.
